Vom 26. bis zum 27. November wird im Dorint Sofitel Pallas in Wiesbaden die Kongressmesse "Payment World 2007" stattfinden. Das Veranstaltungsmotto wirft zukunftsweisende Themen und Fragestellungen auf: "Der Kampf um den POS ist eröffnet - Der Markt der Zahlungssysteme und Konsumentenkredite wird neu verteilt! Wer wird gewinnen - Handel oder Kreditwirtschaft?" Konferenz SmartCard 2007 - Opatija (Kroatien), 24. - 26. September 2007
Im Rahmen der "Go-East"-Strategie präsentierte Atos Worldline auf der diesjährigen SmartCard Konferenz in Opatija (Kroatien) sein Dienstleistungsportfolio.
Die internationale SmartCard Konferenz fand dieses Jahr bereits zum achten Mal statt. Der Hauptveranstalter der Konferenz ist MBU d.o.o., ein Prozessor aus Kroatien, der u.a. die Erste Bank zu seinen Kunden zählt.
Atos Worldline wurde zu dieser Konferenz eingeladen und hatte die Gelegenheit ihre Dienstleistungen in Form eines Vortrags, sowie eines Workshops vorzustellen. Andreas Peppler (Manager Architecture & Product Management) präsentierte die Vorteile einer integrierten Anbindung der Bank an den Dienstleister in seinem Vortrag "EAI - an integrated connection between Bank and Card Processor" vor. In seinem Workshop präsentierte Tom Stankiewicz das zukunftsorientierte Thema "SOP - Sepa online payments".
Die Besucher der Konferenz hatten die Gelegenheit sich außerdem auf dem Stand von Atos Worldline über weitere Lösungen und über das Unternehmen selbst genauer zu informieren. Es konnten einige interessante und anregende Gespräche geführt werden sowie Termine mit potentiellen Partnern vereinbart werden. Interessant war, dass wir des Öfteren von Besuchern angesprochen wurden, die verwundert waren dass sich Atos Worldline in Osteuropa präsentiert und nachgefragt haben, ob wir auch in diesen Ländern Geschäftsaktivitäten planen.
Die Referenten und Besucher der Konferenz waren Vertreter lokaler aber auch internationaler Unternehmen wie beispielsweise Global Payments, FDI, ACI Worldwide und Austria Card. Diese internationalen Player wurden meistens durch internationales Management in Kombination mit lokalen Vertretern repräsentiert.
Aus unserer Sicht sind strategische Partnerschaften in Zentral- und Osteuropa für eine Geschäftsausweitung in diesen Zielmärkten wichtig. Zum einen kennt und versteht der Partner vor Ort den lokalen Markt und die Marktentwicklung und zum anderen bietet die tatsächliche Präsenz eines Unternehmens auf dem jeweiligen (Ziel-)Markt, den potentiellen Kunden eine direkte und bessere Möglichkeit, sich über die Leistungen und Produkte des Unternehmens zu informieren. Die Präsenz übermittelt potentiellen Kunden aber auch ein besseres Gefühl der "Nähe zum Dienstleister" (geographische, aber auch kulturelle sowie sprachliche Nähe).
Mit unserem Auftritt bei der SmartCard Konferenz 2007 hat Atos Worldline einige wichtige Ziele erreicht. Wir wurden als ein internationaler Dienstleister wahrgenommen, haben einige Kontakte knüpfen können und eine bessere Vorstellung gewonnen, wie wir potentielle Kunden in diesen Zielmärkten erreichen können.

Bei Chips ist Geschmack gefragt!
Atos Worldline lädt ein zum Think Tank in der Villa Kennedy
Der zweite Atos Worldline Think Tank in diesem Jahr steht ganz im Zeichen des (EMV-) Chips. Am 19. September 2007 werden zentrale Aspekte des Chip Managements gemeinsam mit Kunden der Business Unit Banking & Finance diskutiert und Lösungen gefunden.
Chip Management-Systeme bieten bei der Abwicklung von Chip-Karten mehr Sicherheit und individuelle Steuerungsmöglichkeiten für Online- und Offline-Transaktionen. Im Think Tank werden die Vorteile eines intelligenten Chip Management-Systems erläutert und Möglichkeiten für die Umsetzung vorgestellt. An interessanten und neuen Impulsen wird es nicht mangeln. Nicht zuletzt, weil auch diesmal der internationale Rahmen eine große Rolle spielt. Bei unseren europäischen Nachbarn wird der PIN Change bereits seit einiger Zeit erfolgreich eingesetzt; durch die Funktion der frei wählbaren PIN konnte in Belgien die Verbraucherakzeptanz erheblich gesteigert werden. Thomas Rottenberg, Head of Department Business Development Processing bei Atos Worldline Belgien, wird Funktion und Mehrwert am Beispiel Belgiens erläutern.
Auch für den zweiten Teil der Veranstaltung freuen wir uns auf einen hochkarätigen Referenten: David Birch, IT Management Consultant und Direktor von Hyperion, wird die technische Seite der kontaktlosen Chips sowie die Herausforderungen und Vorteile, die damit für den Kartenmarkt entstehen, beleuchten.

18th - 20th September 2007 - EFMA Cards and Payments - Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) - Paris
Atos Worldline will be a partner of the EFMA Cards & Payments conference on SEPA organized in Paris, from 18th to 20th September 2007.
On 1st January 2008, SEPA will enter into the final phase with a three year migration period during which both compliant and non-compliant payment instruments will coexist. SEPA will then reshape the European and global cards landscape. With over 40 speakers and 420 delegates from throughout the world, EFMA Cards & Payments is a unique event for professional in the cards and payments field offering an opportunity to share experiences and insights around the SEPA challenges.

Bereits zum dritten Mal wird Atos Worldline auf der “Mobile Roaming Asia 2007” vom 24. bis 26. Juli 2007 in Singapur vertreten sein. Bei der Veranstaltung, die ein internationales Fachpublikum anspricht, stehen die Themen Auflade- und Überweisungslösungen für den Mobilfunkbereich im Mittelpunkt.

From May 9th, till May 10th, 2007 Atos Worldline will be present at EHI in Cologne, an international convention dedicated to "Payment and Customer Loyalty per Card".

Within the scope of our "Think Tank" events we have again invited our clients of the Business Unit Banking & Finance on 26.02.2007 to have another workshop at Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
The topic of this "Think Tank" will be "New paths with Prepaid". Atos Worldline has a twin-strategy for the development of processing solutions for prepaid cards.
