Advanced card processing services: GE Money Bank chooses Atos Worldline
Since the beginning of 2007, Atos Worldline is processing the Visa cards for GE Money Bank through its own card management system. The company is making available the entire card management process (from application to delivery of the card), as well as its cardholder service, apart from technical processing. Several additional modules, which are outstanding due to a high degree of parameterisation adapted to business processes, have completed the system. These are therefore suitable for developing pre-paid and bonus systems, as well as various tax models. Moreover, GE Money Bank intends to use additional Atos Worldline services through new media such as the Internet, mobiles, IVR (Interactive Voice Response) applications or product modules (revolving credit, loan insurance and online card applications)

Atos Worldline debit card concept: more opportunities for German banks
Atos Worldline has developed processing facilities for various new card products, through the combination of debit acceptance at the point of sale and credit functionality for the cardholder. Card-issuing institutions can take customers’ needs into account on an individual basis and expand their business scope and revenue-generating opportunities. With new high value debit product solutions, card-issuing institutions can now increase the attractiveness of their products for the cardholder along with their opportunities to create added value. The new product solution developed by Atos Worldline combines the advantages of the “brand” (high level of distribution and acceptance across Germany; low processing costs for debit acceptance points of sale) with the “payment means for the customer” and his individual payment needs (longer payment period, revolving credit, instalment credit with the card, daily or monthly debiting of the current account).
