Innovation Trophy SITL 2008 awarded to Atos Origin and ISS Logistique & Production
Atos Origin and ISS Logistique & Production have been awarded best innovation trophy in the category “logistics Information System” for their jointly developed solution “Logistics Explorer” at the International Transport & Logistics week in Paris (SITL 2008). This innovative solution, operated in SaaS (software as a service) mode by Atos Worldline directly meets the needs of analysing and optimising the performance of internal logistics of industrial sites (warehouses, production plants...). Atos Worldline obtains SAS70 type I certification
Atos Worldline was granted SAS70 type I certification for its Belgian activity. SAS70 (Statement on Auditing Standards n° 70) is a world-recognised standard of audits assessing the efficiency of a company’s internal controls. SAS70 certification is awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. It gives an independent assessment of the efficiency of internal control processes of companies providing their customers with transaction services. The certification reflects the level of excellence we demand for all our operations and solutions, as well as for the reliability of our systems and security rules.

Atos Worldline, has showcased its latest innovation in online CRM at the SeCA and VoIP 2008 trade shows in Paris. Combining voice and Web technologies, this innovative solution enables Web users to directly and easily contact a company’s customer service via its Website, from their PC in VoIP. Atos Worldline has directly integrated telephone functions into Web browsers, making it possible to combine a telephone conversation, e-mail, chat, video conference, and to exchange multimedia document, all this without installing any software. This solution enables companies to optimise their customer relations on the Web by offering a more human and personalised real-time contact, and improve the efficiency and rapidity of their service.

BP extends its contract with Atos Origin for transaction processing services
Atos Worldline, announced that it has been awarded the contract to process BP’s card transactions including credit, debit, loyalty, fuel and charge cards, as well as manual voucher processing services. The contract marks an extension to the services that Atos Worldline has been delivering to BP since 1991. Robert Mikan, IT Manager Retail at BP, said: “Atos Worldline has been managing the complete processing for BP’s cards business very successfully for several years. The services are delivered by professional and helpful people and as a key supplier they are flexible, responsive and clearly understand our business needs and priorities, particularly the need to provide excellent service to our retailers."

Hamburger Sparkasse entrusts Atos Worldline with the processing of its new co-branded card
Atos Worldline has been selected by Hamburger Sparkasse and the chemists Iwan Budnikowsky (Budni) to ensure the card processing of their new co-branded Budni Cash Card. This new Visa card provides, in addition to the benefits of a traditional debit card, a worldwide payment option based on the Atos Worldline card management system. The Budni card project was completed in less than six months. Unlike conventional credit cards, transactions made using the Budni Cash Card are debited immediately.

Innovative online credit decision solution for eBay credit card: a project between Atos Worldline and Commerzbank AG
Atos Worldline has been awarded with the implementation and technical processing of the new Mastercard credit card issued by Commerzbank and eBay in Germany. Customers can apply online for the eBay credit card, and use it immediately for their Internet purchases. Both companies also announce the extension of their cooperation in the card business to 2010. The extension of this card processing contract highlights a constantly expanding business relationship in place for more than ten years between both partners.

Atos Worldline obtains the certification of the whole range of Banksys terminals for the French market. Since the certification of XENTEO in July 2007, several hundreds of self-service machines featuring the terminal have been deployed in various market segments. The XENTISSIMO and XENTA terminals are now also available in France, following their successful certification by the Groupement des Cartes Bancaires "CB".
Atos Worldline obtains the certification of the whole range of Banksys terminals for the French market. Atos Worldline and ING-DiBa extend card processing contract
Atos Worldline and ING-DiBa announce the extension of their credit card processing contract until 2012, business relationship, which began in 1998. The extension of this 10 years business relationship between both companies today also includes the processing of all VISA cards handled in ING-DiBa by Atos Worldline. Atos Worldline is in charge of the processing of all ING DiBa credit cards on its technical platform. In addition, the Group’s card portfolios that were previously processed otherwise were also transferred to the Atos Worldline system.
Atos Worldline and ING-DiBa announce the extension of their credit card processing contract until 2012, business relationship, which began in 1998.
