Atos Worldline sets a double transaction record on 23 December 2009
Brussels, 24 December 2009 – Yesterday, Atos Worldline, which brings together Atos Origin expertise in high-tech transactional services, achieved a double record for payment transactions in Belgium. On that day, a total of no fewer than 4,493,677 electronic transactions were processed. What’s more, the record for transaction speed was also broken, reaching a new high of 9,414 transactions processed per minute.

Historic collaboration to continue through end of 2013

An innovative technology solution to overcome the lack of contactless readers in Europe
Paris, 10 December 2009 - The French Direction Générale de la Compétitivité de l’Industrie et des Services (DGCIS) (General Directorate for Competitive Industry and Services) has chosen Atos Worldline and its three partners, BMS-Moneo, Mindscape (Violet assets acquired on 20 October 2009) and Neowave, for their ALTESS project (On-line Acceptance of Contactless Secure Electronic Transactions). The selection process was part of the call for Mobile Contactless Services projects launched by the French Ministry for Industry. The project aims at facilitating the deployment of services based on contactless technologies for the general public.

Atos Origin signs the first local e-government public-private partnership contract with GIP e-Bourgogne
Innovative technologies contributing to a stronger local government
Paris, 25 November 2009 -Atos Worldline, which brings together Atos Origin's expertise in high-tech transactional services, and GIP e-Bourgogne have signed the first French public-private partnership contract for IT solutions for a duration of 10 years. Atos Worldline will ensure the development, operation, hosting and maintenance of the first local e-government platform implemented to support the public sector and private businesses in the region. Bourgogne is the first region in France to implement this project, which forms part of the French government's modernisation policy. PARIS – 29 July 2009 – Today, Atos Origin, an international IT services company, announced revenue of EUR 2,589 million for the first half of 2009 representing a slight organic decline of -2.4 per cent. Operating margin reached EUR 118 million representing 4.6 per cent of revenue. This performance was achieved despite a charge of EUR 14 million following the insolvency of the customer Arcandor. Excluding this provision, the operating margin increased by 50 basis points compared to the first half of 2008.

Paris, 5th February 2009 - Atos Origin, one of the main international actors in the field of IT services and a supportive partner of the AFM (Association Française contre les Myopathies, French association against myopathies) has committed itself to supporting the Téléthon for the twelfth consecutive year and has provided the AFM with its secure remote payment solution, SIPS (Secure Internet Payment Services). SIPS, which is developed by Atos Worldline, allows Internet users to make bank card donations with complete security on the Téléthon web site, www.telethon.fr. On the 6th and 7th December, Atos Origin recorded a record peak of 4,412 online donations in 10 minutes.

Interoperability is guaranteed regardless of the chosen dematerialisation mode.
Paris - 12th January 2009 - Atos Worldline, a subsidiary of the Atos Origin group, is the first company to receive the GS1 EANCOM V3 certification for its e-invoicing solution called Worldline Invoice, in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Code Général des Impôts (CG1, French Tax Code). This new certification is granted by GS1 France, which owns the international specifications and standards for dematerialisation tools, and allows Atos Worldline to guarantee its customers interoperability with their partners, regardless of the chosen dematerialisation mode.
