Critical exchanges on digital networks

The need to constantly secure, transmit and process with high-speed critical personal, administrative or financial data. Atos Worldline has a clear objective: provide each customer with a tailored response including all the necessary guarantees while addressing ever more demanding competitiveness requirements. We are able to reach this goal thanks to our knowledge of our customers' business lines and the pooling of our solutions between the three distinct service lines of our global offering:

» electronic payments
» eCS (online services for customers, citizens and communities)
» financial markets

These three areas of expertise are complementary and the projects in which we are involved combine these worlds together. Dematerialisation is up and running and network convergence promises to be a major feature of the next breakthroughs. The link between e-community and e-payment is increasing, as can be seen in our partnership with System U (see opposite). The development of electronic services to citizens is also symbolic of the potential synergies between the solutions offered by Atos Worldline: they necessarily involve ultra-secure exchanges linked to scalable custom interfaces, such as the solution implemented for the remote voting of French citizens living abroad.

The synergies between our three service lines are at the heart of our High-Tech Transactional Services (HTTS) development strategy, designed to offer our customers the best of transacting, wherever they may be.

Speed and ease in purchasing tickets

The "Cybelys" loyalty program introduced in 2003 led to the experimentation in Europe of the first paperless rail ticket: the "Ticketless". Atos Worldline, as the overall project service delivery manager, develops and operates the solution for Thalys International. The media used for the dematerialisation are of several types, including contact and contactless identification cards or partner cards.
Building on the success of the "Ticketless" rail pass, Thalys International has once again turned to Atos Worldline to extend the solution beyond the loyalty program, so that paperless tickets can be offered to every Thalys passenger in Europe. An e-service solution closely linked to Atos Worldline's payment expertise, illustrating the synergies that the company constantly creates for its customers
